"The Way Out" - 2008




And this one is going in the Exhibition as well, it won an award last year and is also getting featured on their postcards for the 2008 event (Yay!) I'm putting it up there purely to sell it. Although I have no clue what to sell it for.. :/ I don't even really like it. >_>

Literally, I did this ^ print in 20 minutes. I arrived at the workshop a few hours late, lol. Comment as much as you like, it's all appreciated.

Finished product of "The Way Out"
Came Runner Up for the Peoples Choice award. Tim's family came to the Exhibition, which was nice. This one in particular has a great meaning to me.. Kira also took some of my artwork to school, for her talk on Bulimia she did in her Health class.

Synthetic Polymer (Acrylic) on canvas. The dimensions are roughly 1 meter wide, by half a meter high. Takes up a whole fucking wall, I love it.




And the newest, which is for school. To anyone who doesn't know, it's of a Rainbow album cover, called Rising. My favourite album.

Oil on canvas. Dimensions about 30cm x 30cm.



Yeah, I know it's a terrible photo - took it at night. :/ Looks much better IRL.
It's not technically finished yet.. still gotta add the dude standing at the bottom of the rocks. I'm well behind the due date because I spent so much time getting everything else right.

Sweet, are those colours accurate? The Rising one looks much better and dramatic then the original.

And is Synthetic Polymer an original composition? It's wicked dramatic and the colour choice is sweet. I notice a big improvement in your style since last time I checked your stuff, which is great.

Synthetic Polymer is the proper term for Acrylic paint. Acrylic was just the name of the brand..
