Signature Limits

Dear Glass Prison Members,

Please be advised that from today new signature limits are being brought into action to quell the somewhat large signatures that grace these fora. Limits will be as follows:

• The total height of your signature, including text, should be no more than 300 pixels when viewed in the Invincible style.
• Images in signatures are to be no wider than 525 pixels.
• There are currently no limits on the file size of images in signatures, though ridiculously huge file sizes of images my result in the image removal. This is to ensure that our 56k friends have the same veiwing pleasure as everyone else.
• There are currently no limits on the number of images in a signature but be sensible.
• Total maximium signature dimesions are width: 525px by height: 300px - this is including images and text.

The rules are also veiwable on the &quot;edit signature&quot; part of your options.

Should you disobey these rules your signature will be removed by the moderation team using special tags so that your code stays but you signature is no longer visible on the board. This is so you can edit the code to within the limits. Once you have done that remove the surrounding code and you signature will be viewable again.

Should you ignore the limits constantly your signature priveliges may be removed for a period of time.

As for now, as the rules are bran new we will give you 2 days to change your signatures to come within the limits, if they are not by Thursday they will be removed till they are altered.

Here is a signature at max size for you to use as a general reference.

question:

How can you tell how many pixels your signature is includingthe i mages and text?
I can tell the pixels on images by checking the proportions but I don't get how you can figure out the text too..I'm trying to figure out if mines fine or not. :P

Well the moderation team will check by taking a print screen on the Invincible skin with the post bit on top if there is doubt about the size, however usually large signatures are easy to spot.



Your signature is over the limits as you can see. I would suggest that you change the font to size 1 and that should take you under I should think.

alright..done... Any better? *hates changing signature now on his new comp since it desn't show up the codes an ymore b ut makes the text red, and p[uts images inside of t he sinature box now, causing it tobe more harder now*

I'm afraid so, you are 70 pxs over the limit

And Furioku you are still over I am afraid, 50pxs, perhaps the award image, if you got rid of that all would be fine
